Long narrow buds open to large full cup-shaped flowers up to 5.9″ across . The fragrant flowers are carried singly or in clusters of up to 5 and have rich deep pink petals that grow paler as they open. Attractive hips extend the display in the fall. The bushy plants have glossy, dark green , leathery mature foliage that is bronze-red when young. Shrubs are vigorous, very disease resistant, hardy, and heat tolerant. ‘Earth Song’ resulted from the breeding program of Dr. Griffith Buck who strove to produce a top-quality garden rose that would survive the freezing winters and hot humid summers of Iowa.
