Spherical buds open to crimson flowers with tightly packed neatly arranged petals, and sometimes a button eye. The flowers are in clusters of three to seven and are carried on short stems. Pale green leaves form a collar around the flowers and are arranged densely on the stems. The bush is a small, compact bush and is shade tolerant.
